Share Your Reason To Stay

Please write as if you’re speaking to someone who is hurting right now – someone who may feel alone, overwhelmed, or unsure if they can keep going.

You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to fix anything. Honesty, kindness and presence are enough.

Please keep the following in mind:

  1. Write with care and compassion
  2. Share what helped you stay, cope, or feel less alone.
  3. Speak gently – as if the reader is beside you..
  4. Keep letters anonymous (no names, contact details, or identifying information).

To keep this space safe, we can’t publish letters that:

  1. Describe suicide or self-harm in detail
  2. Share methods, instructions, or graphic imagery
  3. Present death as a solution or relief
  4. Encourage someone not to seek help
  5. Place guilt or pressure on the reader to stay alive.

All submissions are reviewed before being published, and some letters may be lightly edited or not shared at all in order to protect the wellbeing of the readers.

If writing brings up difficult feelings for you, please consider reaching out to someone you trust or a mental health professional. You matter too.

Thank you for being here – and for helping someone feel less alone.

You don’t need to save anyone.
Just offer your words, and let them land where they’re needed.
